How can we help?
Here at IF creative we don’t believe in one off projects and a farewell handshake, we believe in creating long lasting relationships with all of our clients to ensure the project thrives from the very beginning.
I don’t want this to sound like a rant, so I will try my best!
I was recently in Nottingham on business and found I had half an hour until my next meeting, so I headed for a hotel in the city centre to have a quick coffee and get on their Wi-Fi. It’s a well-known hotel and is quite high end and I don’t want mention any names. On arriving I headed straight to the bar area and asked for a coffee and was told it would be brought to me by one of the waitresses. When the coffee arrived with a smile the waitress very politely asked me if I would take two moments to fill in a short feedback form, with the premise that I may win a prize to entice me. I happily agreed and I was left with a postcard that I was asked to hand back in at the bar once I had completed.
All good so far! I drank my coffee and turned over the card to make a start only to find it had already been filled in and all the persons details were there for all to see; name, email, mobile number, ETC.
I took the card to the bar and explained it was already completed. It was then just put on a pile behind the bar and a fresh one was handed to me but I politely declined! If you’re going to ask people to complete feedback and capture data please give it respect and keep it safe, as all data should be.
They were doing so many things correct but fell short with this one. I will of course return as the coffee was great and the staff were lovely. However, though I’d like to offer my positive feedback this experience has tainted my willingness to fill in their form and trust them with my information.
